Posted 9/2/09 5:48:00PM In an article for USA Today Dana says if Hector beats Brain Stann in his UFC debut...... his shot at "The Shot " looks good. This is given He whoops Stans ass and Anderson is still champ. Which has very good probability of happening. Lombard has NASTY power. I am a Stan supporter through and through.....but!!?? Cant wait for that fight! http://www.cagepotato.com/lombard-could-get-title-shot-with-win-over-stann-at-ufc-on-fox-4/ EDIT: Link is F'd up. Just got to CAGEPOTATO.COM for the story |

Posted 9/30/09 9:33:00PM i think stann is gonna beat lombard. so far i have always thought that lombard looks kind of one dimensional. hes a great fighter but i dont think he deserves a title shot if he beats stann |

Posted 4/8/07 11:48:00PM If he beats Stann, i have no real problems with it. There may be a few guys better than him in the division, but they are either younger with plenty of time to build a name(whereas lombard does not), or they aren't on impressive streaks at the moment. _______________________________________ |

Posted 5/17/11 11:13:00PM If Dana is going to go this route, why didn't he just put Lombard against a top contender like Munoz? The way I see it - if Lombard is fighting Stann and assuming he wins against Stann, which I highly doubt, he would need a another fight to secure a title shot. Munoz is getting screwed here if Lombard fights Stann and wins and gets the title shot. |

Well there's no problem considering that Munoz is scheduled into a fight he's going to lose. _______________________________________ |
