So, the big question is who do you give the guy for a first fight?
I say throw him right into the deep end. Give him a top 3 guy, and if he wins, let him fight Anderson/Chael. Just nice to see some new blood in the MW division. I think maybe give him a Bisbing, Brian Stann, or Munoz.

Boestsch is fighting Bisping at UFC 148.
My guess is Lombard vs. Munoz gets made soon. That or Stann takes the fight. I'd personally like to see him fight Belfort but I dunno. It's definitely nice to have a new big name to throw around at Middleweight.
I hope the UFC manages to scoop up Alvarez as well.

I feel this is the most appropriate fight to make. Okami is sitting right below the top 5 IMO. Okami would be a good test for Lombard's first fight. I'm not suggesting Okami would be a stepping stone; I'm saying this would be a good fight and win for both parties.
