Thiago Tavares out, Tony Ferguson now meets Michael Johnson on UFC on FOX 3   [View Full Version]

Tony Ferguson (13-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) now has his third scheduled opponent for UFC on FOX 3.

UFC officials today announced that Thiago Tavares, who replaced an injured Dennis Hallman, has also withdrawn from the card.

In his place steps "The Ultimate Fighter 12" finalist Michael Johnson (10-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC), who now meets Ferguson on the UFC on FOX 3 preliminary card.

Solid replacement. I don't see Ferguson losing to either guy though.

Yeah - Ferguson should easily out-box Johnson AND Ferguson has the wrestling credentials to keep it on the feet as well.

I like this fight a lot more. Both of these guysare going to be throwing, and I would be surprised if either tried to take it to the ground. PHI -ER- (wait for it) WORKS
