Posted 7/5/07 6:21:00PM Former Middleweight hopeful Dan Miller, who has struggled against the top 185-pound competition in the last few years, will shed 15 pounds and take on Ricardo Funch at UFC on FX 4 from the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., on June 22, 2012. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tonight (March 21, 2012) made the Welterweight bout announcement on its official website. Miller, a "Garden State" native, has battled turmoil inside and outside the Octagon, losing a newborn child and then caring for an infant who was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. All the while, he's attempted to reach his true mixed martial arts (MMA) potential that was evident when he made his promotional debut back in 2008. Link |

Posted 4/8/07 11:45:00 Miller all day in this one. It's great to see him back in the cage again. Hopefully Welterweight is a better fit for him. _______________________________________ |

Posted 10/13/10 10:40:00PM While I don't know him personally, Dan Miller seems like a great guy. He's been through a lot, and when you look up "heart" in the dictionary, he and Jim should be side by side. Dan fights anyone, anywhere, anytime. I've never heard him with excuses for a loss, and I've never heard him be a douche after a win. I wish him all the success in the world at Welterweight. He should be one of the bigger guys in the division, and if the cut goes smoothly, I can see him doing very well in this weight class. WAR MILLER
