Either way they'll have a contender. If Ellenberger wins on Wendesday, let him have title shot. If Sanchez wins on Wednesday, let him fight the winner if KOS vs. Hendricks, winner of that gets title shot. DONE!

No way. This should be an exciting fight. Kos will probably try to stand (at least for a while) and Hendricks is gonna work him. |

Posted 9/24/10 8:39:00PM I'll never understand how some can consider Hendrick's knockout a fluke. He trained, he made weight, he stepped into the cage, he pulled the trigger, he connected. What's the deal? He did what he was supposed to do, just without flaw. If they rematched, nothing says he wouldn't knock Fitch out again. |

I also thought Kos lost, albeit a very close decision. I think Hendricks has a good style, similar to Story, in his approach to grappling. I think the dirty boxing against the cage may very well work to his advantage this fight and he can win a very close U or S D. As for winners, let the winner fight Rory MacDonald. That Ellenberger is so hot right now, Ellenberger, but people forget how Rory ran straight through Mike Pyle. Getting ahead of myself, but I think he would beat Ellenberger were they to fight. Clearly I am expecting Rory to tool Mills around as well. |

Posted 8/14/11 9:31:00PM I'm really liking this match up, fingers crossed both fighters stay healthy through their training camps. In noway does Hendricks keep this from being a boring fight. |

Posted 1/16/09 11:38:00PM to the poster on page 1- awesome pic of Franklin after getting popped. This could be another fight like Koscheck's last fight, where he decides to stand until he gets hit, and than steals the round with a clinch/takedown attempt. I think Koscheck and all of these other fighters like Cain etc. should stay being wrestlers , and only stand with ok -great strikers after they have brutalized them with gnp. Some standup fights are close, but it gets annoying when a whole fight goes by and no one lands any worthwhile strikes. The winner should not always be the guy moving foward if the other guy lands good counter shots, while running away or backing up slowly. Posted 6/7/11 4:52:00AM icantthinkofanything youd prolly get a better response to the link if youd just make ONE mention of it inside of it's own post in the Off Topic forum multiple links, although including comments on the thread you're posting in, ends up being nothing more than spam _______________________________________ |

Yeah, it was an absolute fluke. ![]() George St. Pierre was quoted as saying something like "I thought I was going to have to kill him" regarding Fitch. St. Pierre turned his face into hamburger meat and still couldn't get the finish. Fitch has only been finished twice in his entire career via the KO method. Johny knocked him out clean and it was a good shot. Considering the dude has 7 T/KO victories, might you consider that he just has that much damn power in his hands? Also, why would you make Bakersfield your user-name? Seriously.....I need to know. |

There are several hundred people who could use the same logic to invalidate anything that you say. I have more money than you as well as more points, so is your opinion automatically worthless compared to mine? Wagering has a lot more to do with understanding how odds and probabilities work than just being able to predict who will win any given fight. You can be correct 99% of the time, and lose 100% of your money in the 1% of the time that you are wrong if you simply don't know good betting strategy. It's a pretty conceited statement, using pretty poor logic. |
