Croatian heavyweight Mirko ‘Crop Cop’ Filipovic will return to his kickboxing roots this coming March when he faces New Zealander ‘Sugar’ Ray Sefo at an upcoming show in Zagreb, Croatia.
Sefo announced the matchup on Twitter (@SugarRaySefo) this past weekend.
- Some news for you all my fight with Mirko Cro-Cop has been confirmed for March 10th!!!
- The fight will be a K-1 rule fight, it’s held in Zagreb Croatia I’m told it’ll be in front of 25,000 people
- The promotion is called Fight Channel Promotions it’s a TV Network in Croatia, the fight will be K-1 rules

I don't like Mirkos chances against Ray 'Sugar' Sefo. Sefo has some of the nastiest leg kicks i've ever seen, they just dig in like an axe is hitting his opponents legs. That being said though Mirko has some killer Head kicks which are thrown much more frequently in K1. Also I think K1 rules suit Mirkos style much better than mma. Intresting matchup of 2 legendary fighters, definitely will be watching this one

Sefo gasses all the time after the first round. It should be an easy victory for Cro Cop IMO.
