UFCjunkie.com-sponsored fighter Sean Salmon (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has a new opponent for next weekend’s UFC 71 event. Eric “Ravishing Red” Schafer has been scratched from the event with a broken rib, and Alan Belcher (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) will fight in his place.
I had Salmon over Schafer, and I certainly have Salmon over Belcher.

Now that you mention it, Salmon probably should drop to 185lbs. He looks pretty doughy at 205lbs. and the competition is arguably easier at 185lbs.
But this is at 205lbs., so...so much for that.
