The UFC has finalized the card for its February return to Japan at the Saitama Super Arena with the addition of two more bouts to the UFC 144 lineup. Bantamweights, Norifumi Yamamoto and Vaughan Lee, will square off, as will Leonard Garcia and Zhang Tiequan in featherweight action. The UFC confirmed both bookings late Sunday night:

"Kid" Yamamoto will go to battle against British bantamweight Vaughan Lee, fighting for the first time in almost two years in his home country. Plus, China's Tiequan Zhang and the always-game Leonard Garcia have agreed to meet inside the Octagon on that date.

Looks like some loser leaves potential matchups here. Both could be exciting and both could be duds.

I dont know why but it seems like the JMMA fighters dont want to be in the cage or in front of a noisy obnoxious crowd full of angst and intensity. More than anything, Kid, Gomi etc. just dont look comfortable in there. We saw flashes of how good Gomi could be with the KO of Griffin and how fast the lightning-like strikes of Kid were but he keeps getting consistently outgrappled by weaker guys strength-wise on paper with this almost lack of concern in there.

Hopefully the Japanese atmosphere will put them in the zone they can get back on track.

...Oh and Garcia is probably getting guillotined within 2 minutes.
