Bobby Lashley vs. Tim Hague headlines Shark Fights 21   [View Full Version]
Budgellism » Posted 4/8/07 11:45:00AM

With Shark Fights heavyweight champ Darrill Schoonover (11-5) scratched due to a shoulder injury, UFC vet Tim Hague (13-5) has stepped in as a replacement and now meets ex-WWE star and Strikeforce vet Bobby Lashley (6-1) in the headliner of next month's Shark Fights 21 event.

Shark Fights officials announced the fight overnight.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) first reported Schoonover's withdrawal this past week.

Shark Fights 21 takes place Nov. 11 at Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas. The event airs via delay on FUEL TV on Dec. 23.

Officials announced a belt will be on the line with Lashley vs. Hague, though it's not clear if it'll be an interim title.

Fun matchup, wonder if Lasley's cardio has improved since his last fight

Much better match up. Let's see if Hague can keep his footing and try to pick Lashley apart. My money is on Bobby to work some vicious ground and pound. I want to see him start fighting more often.

I suppose this fight should show us whether Bobby actually wants to fight, or if he is just interested in cakewalks when it comes to MMA.

Pretty much. If he loses to Hague (especially if it's a convincing win) then I'll be pretty convinced he's going no where in the sport. Right now I'm already pretty positive he's going no where but this fight should confirm it or prove I don't know what I'm talking about.

Both men have questionable cardio but I like Hague here. Dudes had a couple bad performances, mostly in the UFC but he's no pussh over and I think he can win this one.

Hague should win this, just as long as he doesnt gas equally as bad.
