i want to see how Siver does against Cerrone first before i try to break down that potential fight.

Siver has not done well against other strikers, as the last two he's face (Pearson and Guillard) have beaten him. Cerrone will be a good test to see where he stands at LW and vice versa.

yeah, siver seems one dimensional compared to cerrone but i think he would beat taylor. not to excited about either fighter unless they are in the middle of pounding on sotiropolis.

I'm probably the biggest Paul Taylor fan you will ever meet, so let me tell you that fans have him VERY underrated. What most fans don't realize is that Taylor fought most of his fights at Welterweight against guys who looked to wrestle him that dwarfed him in size. He beat Davis, Kelly, and Hathaway standing until they decided to take him down and submit him or try to pound him out. I thought the judges screwed him over in his fights against Lytle and Stout, and sites like Sherdog and BloodyElbow agreed on their score cards. Hell, even in most of the fights he did lose he was competitive enough to earn FOTN, would have earned KOTN at UF 126 if it wouldn't have been for Anderson's front kick KO on Belfort.

Anyway, I think Taylor would put the beat down on Siver, who also happens to be one of my favorites Lightweights. Rogan's mentioned a handful of times that he thinks Taylor's kickboxing is underrated since joining the UFC, and he considers it some of the best he's seen, and I agree with him. Siver is dangerous on his feet, that's for sure. He just doesn't have the crisp strikes in his hands like Taylor does, and Taylor is crazy dangerous with his head kicks. Just don't see Siver winning.

Taylor's kickboxing is definitely underrated and more technical. But even though they're the same age, Siver has old man strengfh. It'd be a good fight for sure as I'd assume both would be content to stand the entire fight.

i would personally pick Taylor. like FastKnockout said Taylor's kickboxing is incredibly underrated. couple that with the fact that SIver doesn't fair well against other strikers (like i mentioned above) and i would have to go with Taylor. this is the same reasoning i'm using when going with Cerrone.
