I thought Diego Sanchez would rip BJ Penn to pieces in their fight.

I thought Michael Bisping would easily outpoint Henderson in their fight.

I thought Jacob Volkmann would mop the floor with Martin Kampmann in the grappling department.

In 2009, I thought the toughest fight for GSP would be Brock Larson.

The most embarrassing: I, at one point, thought Terry Martin had the best chance to beat Anderson Silva.

It's chill, that's the life when you bet/pick fights. I've had plenty of jaw-droppingly accurate picks, but those aren't funny.

my good friend was very kind to remind me the other night that i once drunkenly called Cain Velasquez "Pillow Hands" in front of an entire room of people. Unfortunately that one time was right when the Lesnar fight started

I mentioned in a previous thread that at the FN 25 weigh ins, I was trying to get signatures & my friends were telling me which fighters were coming around next bc I was drunk & not paying attention. Anyways, I was expecting Court McGee when Ellenberger walked around. He walked up while I had my program & pen out & I asked, "Hey Court, why did you shave your beard?".

he said, 'wrong page", turned my stupid program to the correct page & signed it anyways.

for the record, i still take credit for his KO over shields. when i called him Court, he probably thought to himself that he was going to put on a fight where no one would forget his face ever again.
