Ross Pearson is considering a move to the featherweight division.

The British fighter, who won "The Ultimate Fighter 9" as a lightweight, won four of his first five UFC fights.

However, following a recent split-decision defeat to Edson Barboza at UFC 134, the 26-year-old stated that he's considering a move from 155 to 145 pounds.

He could be a healthy 145 with the right diet.

He looked a little soft against Barbosa.....he should take some pointers from Tyson Griffin on how to do it.

I reckon he could be a ripped 145er. He looked like he was carrying some excess in his last fight compared to Barboza.

Would be a great move for him, as he's just too short for 155. There's also much less depth--as made apparent by someone like say Manny Gamburyan who was a serviceable LW, but suddenly became a top 10 FW.
