Posted 9/24/10 8:39:00PM Matt Mitrione believes nutrition has been the missing piece to the puzzle in his fight career, so to remedy that he’s added famed guru Mike Dolce to his camp for UFC 137. LINK |

Posted 7/4/07 4:41:00AM I gotta admit, I wasn't expecting Mitrione to do jack in the ufc. 0-2 then cut was what I figured. WAY off on my part. I'm glad he's hired the playgrounds own Mike Dolce. He's getting is diet right and that's a big part as far as energy goes. I'll be keeping my eye on MeatHead in the future _______________________________________ |

Posted 7/30/11 2:57:00PM Ive always liked Meathead! He was the comic relief on TUF for sure, but he had a genuine passion for the sport & its obvious hes a fast learner! His bouts have never disappointed & I think he has a shot of shutting Congo down & pulling through with a W! Image Attachment(s): |

Posted 5/17/11 11:13:00PM I think Mitrione has taken this new opportunity of his life very seriously. He sounds like a guy you cannot take too seriously when he speaks but I believe he has dedicated himself to the sport and it shows. Kongo would be a great test for Mitrione. Mitrione needs to be at his best for this fight. |

Posted 10/13/10 10:40:00PM This is a purely positive move. Mitrione is the man, and he seems to be a very athletic heavyweight. If he can take his fitness to the next level along with his skills, who knows. He could very well be a contender. |

Posted 5/3/11 12:43:00AM If getting in shape means more speed and power, betting conditioning, I think he could definitely knock Kongo the fudge out. |
