Impostors- in the same vain as Blade Runner and Running Man. Decent movie that has a few plot twists. Older movie with a few familiar faces in it.

This is 40 - Pretty good movie. There are some really funny parts in the movie. If you see it wait through the credits. One of the best parts of the movie happens then.

I still have yet to see the 5th one. This franchise could make it to 10 installments, all they have to do is keep coming up with creative ways to kill people.

Putting this up in the Hobbit thread, and here. I loved the movie. It did a great job at building the story, and making you care about the characters. There is a ton of action, and the special effects are outstanding. Gollum looked great, and there are a few new evil characters that are badass, one in particular. I recommend seeing it in 3d. They meshed a few different Tolkien stories with the Hobbit, which only adds to the action. The only downfall I feel, was parts of the movie seemed recycled from the LOTR. I can think of at least 3 instances, where action scenes were very similar to the LOTR. Besides that, a few scenes are kind of campy, and some of the bad guys seemed like rejects from early Harry Potter films. I still highly recommend the movie, as there are far more good things, that outweigh the negative.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Just relived the 1992 World Series. Sportsnet played a game a day since Christmas and with me being 3 at the time, I was essentially watching it for the first time

Watched ParaNorman last night. The stop motion animation was excellent. The movie, however, was just ok.I found myself on the internet, more than paying attention to the movie, multiple times. It's about a young boy that can see and talk to the dead. It seemed the target audience was teenagers, rather than little kids.

Looper

A good movie but an alternate ending would have been nice

Dead Alive

If you've never seen this movie before, do yourself a favor, and rent the unrated version. This is by far the bloodiest movie I've ever seen. Finally got it on blu ray, after watching it for the first time, years ago. The special effects are top notch. No CGI whatsoever. Great mix of gore, comedy, suspense, and action.

Django Unchained. Overrated, just like Quentin Tarentino. The acting was incredible and I actually thought Samuel L Jackson was the greatest of them all, but I don't need a close up of everyone's face for 20 seconds at a time anytime anything at all happens.

The Avengers - Like I thought, I enjoyed it much more the second time around.
