I just finished watching a movie called, " V/H/S." It's a really messed up movie about a group of guys that are hired by someone to document everything and go find some tapes in a house, and when they get there, they start watching tape after tape of really crazy things happening.. I WAS SOOO scared. My life will never be the same... lol Just kidding.. :P And then I saw "The Watch" with Ben Stiller-- It was alright.
watched Bernie on netflix instant.
based on a true story, Jack Black plays a mortician that everyone in the small TX town loves, but ends up w/ a lady in that town that everyone hates.
they shot it ina documentary style & had actual residents from the small town that knew the real guy that Jack Black is playing giving their testimonies on the situation.
it's not lol funny. more of a dark comedy, but i did enjoy it. not the best movie i ever saw, but def worth watching.

The genre you're looking for is Black Comedy, I guess Dark Comedy is the same thing though, as Black is definitely dark lol.
I seen this on there meant to watch it, but I'm right in the middle of That 70's Show. I can't stop watching that every night.

Both are acceptable terms, although I prefer dark comedy. Reason being, every time I say black comedy, it seems like someone always assumes I mean a comedy with a black cast.
As far as the movie goes, saw it awhile back and I agree completely with PF's analysis.
