Wife threw a cuvreball by me and we watched the first Child's Play last night, I forgot how much she liked those stupid Chucky movies. I usually just laugh the whole time....it's a fricken doll that swears and runs around fast.

I tried watching the last one the other day, turned it off after like 25mins. They suck after the 3rd one, It turned into more comedy than anything.

Agreed. When they started getting a bride and a kid involved they were even worse. I mean its a hard concept to begin with, a Killer doll. I liked Child's Play 3, which is the one where Andy is a grown up in the military school. After that, that shit got terrible.

Children of the Corn - Was definitely better years ago, but that's pretty much how a lot of horror movies end up.

American Gothic - An Okay horror movie from the mid 80's, a group a friends are stranded on an island after they have to land their small plane, they search the island for people, and find a family that isn't that modern with the times....

Alien Directors Cut

Couldn't resist.

Also watched thinner and cujo on AMC

Book was better on both accounts however they are old movies so I won't be too harsh

Quite a few King books that are turned into movies are rather shitty.

I've noticed.

Which is a damn shame. His books could make huge amounts of money if turned into movies who's director is smart and doesn't try and take shortcuts throught the story.

Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy ...

I'm digging these spy movies so send any recommendations (rather hear from people than internet lists) my way BUT I'm really interested in the ones where the STORY is interesting and not CHARACTERS or GADGETS so zero interest in all things James Bond, Jason Bourne, Mission Impossible and all that crap

I've seen: TTSS, The Interpreter, Munich, Syriana, Body of Lies, The Debt

On my watch list: The Good Sheperd, Ronin, Spy Game, The Manchurian Candidate

Ronin and Spy Game are pretty good, haven't seen the other two

To add to your list, The Recruit, Traitor, Killer Elite, True Lies, Valkyrie.

The Skeptic - This was alright, kinda predictable, but was about a lawyer inheriting a house from his Aunt who had just passes away, the house seems to be haunted , and the lawyer tries to find out what exactly it is, since he doesn't believe in ghosts, blah blah blah. It had at least Tom Arnold, Zoe Salanda, and the head vampire from The Lost Boys

Straw Dogs (original) I thought it was a good movie but I really couldn't stand the Girl in it. She flip flopped so many fucking times I wanted to slap her

Freddy vs. Jason - The plot to bring the tie the two together actually was kinda cool, was hoping they would do a 2nd one, but it has been almost 10 years since this came out, but then again look how long it finally took to get the 1st one lol.

Boy Wonder- pretty good movie about a kid who watched his mom get murdered in front of him who grows up to fight crime. Dark movie that has nothing to do with superheroes

IMDB
