I think you guys called it with either Siver or Guillard.

But what about Guida v. Sherk?

I don't agree with this. Guida has fought much much higher competition in my opinion. He deserves a title shot before Miller.

Is Sherk ever gonna be healthy again? Better up the dosage of 'roids and HGH!

I was going to say that too that Guidas last opponents were far better than who Jim Miller has faced and for that fact a lot tougher and better than who Gilbert Melendez has faced...

I would say let Guida face Melendez that would be a good fight....

Guida and Melendez have already fought once, in 2006 for the Strikeforce LW belt. Melendez won by split dec. I see Melendez taking a rematch also.

Except it would be a first round KO/TKO this time.

I have a soft spot for the carpenter. He may not be the best fighter. He may not have the best techniques. But what he does have is work ethics and heart. His determination and relentless pressure is unmatched by anyone in the sport.

Guida may never become a ufc champion but his haters will never be able to take away his Strike Force championship, his two time submission of the night, his four time Fight of the Night, and his Fight of the Year award.

I hear you, Guida. You certainly have paid your dues......and never mind the ungrateful fans.

hehe Wiman is going to tool Siver.

Sucks that Guillard & Guida are both at Jackson's now, that is THE fight to make right now as long as Guillard beats Roller as he most likely should. Both have finally got to that point where they finally jumped from journeyman to elite fighters after a long journey.

So many ways this can go since their's so many great lightweight fights coming up. Miller to lose to both Maynard & Edgar, so they could market a rematch the only problem is Miller hasn't had that one HUGE win that makes casuals go "I want this guy to fight for the title next." Henderson is a damn good fighter but isn't really at the top of the food chain.

I think the safest thing is Guida vs the winner of Henderson-Miller for a title shot. Guillard can just fight the loser of Maynard-Edgar and if he wins he can get his title shot. A rematch with Siver could be cool but I still see Guillard brutally KOing him again.

Guida is 1 win away from a title shot imo. Guida vs Miller/Bendo winner i think should happen for #1 contender spot

he needs to actually win a win, not simply not lose like he just did.
