Posted 8/3/07 12:38:00PM Another UFC lightweight got Das Boot today, as John Gunderson has been released. He lost to Yves Edwards at UFN 22, but he was to have originally faced Efrain Escudero before injuries caused massive lineup shuffling. In fact, all 3 of his fights had him either being a short-notice replacement or having his original opponent drop out due to injuries or other changes. He went 1-2 in UFC. Article |

Posted 7/19/07 11:27:00AM This is one guy who I am sure will go outside the UFC get some decent wins and be invited back, all the replacement things he did whil in the UFC and the fact that he has a solid skill set and puts on quality fights will help him as well. John just needs to score some finishes. |

Posted 3/27/10 10:42:00AM Even 1 loss and turning down a fight due to injury will get you canned... Duffy. If the UFC keeps this up, we'll starting getting some exciting fights to watch in SF. |
