I'm kind of glad honestly. I don't feel like he was beat in the sense that he was outskilled, I think he made a mistake and a game opponent capitalized on it. Fedor probably thought Werdum was hurt more badly than he was and that he could just finish him with some hammer fists.
The reason I'm glad is I still think Fedor is clearly a top fighter, and that there's a possibility that this could get him into the UFC. His pricetag has dropped quite a bit. I can still dream.
i think everyone is just shocked lol. i mean i can honestly say i felt wredum had a chance but i mean i really didnt see it happening like that. no one wins against father time...except for randy couture <_< it will be interesting to see what dana white says because i doubt it will be very humble. and it still doesnt just change the fact that fedor is the best heavy weight ever. hes just not the best heavy right now.

i figured he would catch a guillotine or land some miracle punch i didnt see him landing a slick triangle/ arm bar like that
the fact that it just took a minute was pretty shocking to me, hell him losing was a shocker. i think aether said it best, he thought werdum was more hurt than he was and he payed for being over aggressive. hats off to werdum of course though, he did what he does.

This happened to GSP against Serra, Machida had the same talk about him going into the Shogun fights, same with BJ and Edgar. It happens.
Sadly, now ALL of this attention will shift to Anderson. Shogun won't receive any of it mainly because the LHW belt has played musical chairs since Liddell lost it to Rampage. If Sonnen beats Anderson this conversation will get VERY interesting.
