Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia reveals to that he weighed 305-pounds for his Moosin "Gods of Martial Arts" fight against Mariusz Pudzianowski because he didn't want to give up any unnecessary pounds to the Polish strongman. "The Maine-iac" made the world's strongest can submit to strikes after a round of sucking wind and swinging for the fences. After the fight, Sylvia declared that he was "back" and doesn't seem to care if you like it or not.

He's back? A win over a guy with two professional MMA fights makes someone "back?"

The question is....does anybody really care about Tim anymore?

i think ir's quite possible that tim came in at 300+ intentionally. if i recall he was in the 280s a few months back against riley.

Well I'm from the Mid West and I care what I think.

Isnt Sylvia from the midwest and not the East coast?

BJ Penn beat Frankie Edgar more times than Benson Henderson beat Frankie Edgar.

Big Timmy is back.

I hope Timmy does come back to the UFC
I think the new crop of HW's will beat him down like he owes them money !!
everyone likes a good KO

mrsmiley » Posted 4/12/07 4:37:00PM

I think all the higher tier HW's in the division would beat Sylvia but I think he could stay a nice mid level competitor within the UFC.
I would like to see him fight Nelson.

Caesarrrr » Posted 3/29/10 1:38:00PM

lol no way he's back. He wins a fight in a freakshow match (I should mention this is after losing a different freakshow match) and seems to think he's the next HW champ? No Sir.

I almost feel bad for him. As though he's laboring under these delusions of grandeur, and everyone else can see the truth. In a way I want Dana to sign him back, give him an undercard fight, and when he loses tell him it's time to retire.

way to go he beat an unexperienced fighter who didnt even throw a punch...
