Joe "Rocky" Stevenson looks to turn heads, sway crowd at UFC 110   [View Full Version]

While UFC lightweight Joe Stevenson (31-10 MMA, 8-4 UFC) has generally proved to be a pretty likable guy during his four-plus years in the UFC, "Daddy" doesn't expect to get much love at this weekend's UFC 110 event in Sydney, Australia.

"I am the step up for him, for sure," Stevenson said. "He has nothing to lose, except losing in his own country. If he does okay against me, the home fans will be like, 'He did great,' whereas I am expected to win. So if anything the pressure is on me even though I’m not the home fighter."

Well that pretty much sums it up. Only the fight is a lot closer than Joe thinks. Sotripilous has a very legit chance of beating him. I have to think that george is the superior grappler. Joe has it standing Hoping that the weight cut doesn't hurt George too much.

Stevenson is kind of a gate keeper for the LW division, a good one at that and if he continues to win, he'll likely get another title shot but at this point he's not good enough to beat BJ but better than the majority of the division.

Sotiropolous is a live dog in this fight although I don't see Joe Daddy losing w/ his new training camp being Jackson's.

Joe looked GREAT in his last fight. I'm interested to see how much he's improved since.
