Spike TV To Air 10 Prelim PPV Teasers In '10   [View Full Version]

After three successful broadcasts in 2009, Spike TV officials today announced the cable station will air a total of 10 preliminary-card specials prior to UFC pay-per-view events in 2010. The one-hour specials, now dubbed "UFC Prelim," feature between two and four bouts from the un-aired preliminary cards of each pay-per-view event. The first 2 installments will be prior to UFC 108 & UFC 109, the rest TBA.

Heck yes! Good idea and good job to the people that thought this one up. what a smart thing to do with the un-aired prelims. Gives those fighters more exposure and Spike more ratings. Plus more fights!!

And if those fights all end fast enough, it is quite possible that, between Spike and PPV, we might actually be able to see EVERY FIGHT on a given night!

This is fantastic news, time and time again some of the best fights on a card are prelims.

Man, that is so badass. This was the best idea the UFC has come up with in a long time and whoever came up with it is the coolest motherf*cker on the planet . Props to you Spike aired prelim guy. You truly are the man.
