Those lucky enough to attend the Paradise Warrior Retreat Center luncheon Sunday in Hoffman Estates, Ill., following Saturday’s Strikeforce/M-1 Global “Fedor vs. Rogers” got a real treat.

Fedor Emelianenko watched his seven-minute bout with Brett Rogers for the first time and broke down his thoughts on his performance through his interpreter.

Here are some highlights:

Fedor is human, come on.

Really though, sounds like a great guy!

The more I hear Fedor talk, the more i'm convinced he's got something to do with this whole 2012 end of the world business.

Fedor's hand is the only hand that can beat a Royal Flush!

I think one thing that has made Fedor such a great fighter is that he's very humble in his skills. He's not over confident or under confident.
If he has a weakness in his game he just doesn't hide it away and hope it doesn't get exposed.
He faces those weaknesses and becomes better because of them.

I remember Rickson Gracie making a comment like this about his own BJJ skills once.

But than again.we have never seen him lose.sure its easy to be humble an all that when your winning.but that COULD go flying out the window when and if he ever loses....lets hope that doesnt happen

Very true.

As much as I may hate to say it since I'm a big Fedor fan,his biggest test will come after he loses a fight . I think we learn more about a fighters true character after that type of situation.

He could have crumbled after that freak loss that wasn't, but he didn't take it hard or say anything about it really.
