ACS: MMA's Next Superpower   [View Full Version]
Sinister » Posted 8/16/09 11:18:00PM

"TEMPE, Ariz. -- The rise to power of Arizona Combat Sports as one of the top mixed martial arts gyms in the country was slow and steady. This was no overnight emergence.

ACS was started by two twin brothers who had no plans to run a martial arts school as their full-time profession. Todd and Trevor Lally just wanted a place to train after they relocated from Washington’s rain-drenched climate to Arizona’s barren desert."

i think it already is a powerhouse. the amount of wrestling talent and athleticism they have in that gym is second to none. and this is just the beginning. once people like Riddle and Bader start to get more and more experience and develop even more well rounded skills, we will start to see the next level of fighter. ACS is already near the top imo, and i can't wait to see what the next few years have in store for them

Actually Riddle is training up in Vegas, now. I don't remember exactly where.. but he left ACS about a year ago.

I've hung out with the ACS guys a couple times before...its pretty much the equivolent of a high school wrestling team in terms of environment...lots of ribbing.
