wow, no way did roy win that first round. I had picked roy to win the show, and I can say when I saw the zoom in of the scorecards with 10-9, 9-10, and 10-9 the first round I was baffled that even one judge could have scored the first round for Nelson, then when the announcement is read bafflement turned into utter shock as I realized that 2 judges scored the entire fight for him.

WOW.

I don't watch much boxing, but I looked up Adelaide Byrd and she seems to be the Cecil Peoples of the boxing world. Apparently Patricia Jarman had scored the first 3 rounds of the kenny florian BJ Penn fight.... IN KENNY'S FAVOUR.

Something really needs to happen here. These people can't even judge their own sport properly, why would anyone think they are competent to judge MMA?

I think Roy most likely would have won the third round anyway, but jesus, we should have found out and Justin should've gotten the chance to prove that assumption wrong.

I really think that I am very good at detaching myself from any kind of bias in favour or fighters that I like and judge with complete neutrality. But even if that wasn't the case, Nelson was the guy I had picked and was rooting for, and I still can't believe anyone would score round 1 in his favour.

I continue to be amazed. This sport is going to head down the exact same path as boxing if something doesn't change.

If it isn't poor judging isn't a very poor job of reffing on this season of TUF. Man Brendan must have blatantly grabbed the cage 9 -10 times. He grabbed Madsen's shorts just as much as the cage and the only thing the ref did was say stop. Whats the point of the rules if the ref doesn't do a damn thing about them when they are broken over and over again. Don't get me wrong I thought Brendan would win but that doesn't mean breaking the rules over and over again is ok. Who knows how things would have gone if the ref would have done his job.

The really sad part is how many more people watched Brendan Schaub and Jon Madsen than Aldo/Brown tonight.

I think it would've made no difference, since he wasn't grabbing to prevent takedowns, he was doing it when he was already down to maneuver, but he should've had a point taken away. Madsen obviously had no intention of posturing up and throwing any damaging shots.

I'm glad Schaub won. I don't think I could handle watching much more of Madsen.

Me too, I like Schaub. He was my pick to win it from the start, but the more I watch the more I think that he may be too small to handle a Marcus Jones or Roy Nelson

That's very true I got to watch Aldo fight first and record TUF but some people don't have VS so TUF was their only choice.

If you re-watch it you will see he grabs the cage 3 times trying to stop the take down. In fact the one he stops before the TKO is stopped because of him grabbing the cage. There was a few times the ref didn't even say anything at all maybe because he got tired of repeating it. As far as changing the outcome or not we don't know and never will know because the Ref didn't do his job.

That was the case with me. I don't have VS Channel so TUF is the only thing I had.

According to the preview for this week's episode it seems like Scott Junk's fighting career could be over due to an eye injury (and surgery), and Marcus confronts Mitrione for being the one to cause it during his fight with junk (eye poke)...

I love Marcus. That's a guy that anyone and everyone should be proud to call a friend.

marcus goes overboard because of who it was that poked junk, that stuff happens sometimes, its not like he did it on purpose. i really like marcus, he might be the most likable guy theyve had on TUF, but hes wrong to go after meathead in this situation.

Exactly. Which is why I like it. My hatred towards Mitrione stems back from when he got all Superman on Madsen after drinking his OJ. Clearly Madsen isn't the most non-douche of all the guys in the house, but Mitrione's outburst in that episode rubbed me the wrong way and I've despised him ever since. It's nice to see Marcus return the favor.

Just so everyone knows - the final episode has now been leaked on the web - since Monday. Just in case anyone is unfortunate enough to see the spoilers that may get posted.

Schaub was extremely impressive tonight.
