MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today requested and received the list of official disclosed salaries from Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer. If Alves had won, he would have made $120K, so he would have made more. If Mir had won, he would have made $90K, which is the same as Fitch. Winners get paid more (and they should). Don't forget that Fitch probably has a good contract for the massive winning streak he's been on (and he's only lost to a man who looks unbeatable at this point), including a victory over Alves. Also, Frank Mir probably still has a contract from his shakier period in the UFC post-accident. |
