Posted 6/21/07 3:31:00PM very bad matchup for Guillard considering his record against submission specialists.......We know from the Pellegrino fight that Diaz can take a lot of punishment and still pull off a late submission, and Guillard doesn't have half the BJJ skills that Kurt does so i can only see this fight ending in one way....Submission victory for Diaz..... |

Posted 4/30/08 8:55:00AM Pretty easy one to call... can't end any way but a sub win for Diaz, unless Guillard shows us something new. |

Posted 3/15/08 9:03:00PM what a god awful matchup for melvin, i feel bad, although it looks like he lost that fight against tibau he showed improvements in his groudn game cuz he didnt tap out in 30 seconds. this should defintily be diaz' fight if diaz loses its because i have a feeling he may choose to keep the fight standing, he really doesnt have the takedowns to bring melvin down and keep him there. melvin has a punchers chance i guess |

Posted 6/1/07 8:17:00AM Should be a give-me for Diaz so the TUF winner can avoid a third consecutive loss. How is this the main event? Guillard has had one fight since his time off, winning a fight he lost, and Diaz has lost two in a row. Huerta vs. Maynard is much more impactful than this. |
