I showed up to fight, made weight- and waited for Drew.
Drew finally showed up, saw him with the DR. Pre fight physcial and YEP- he was a little waisted. Police were out front they gave Drew a breath- a- lizer- I believe I heard them say he blew a .18 (2X the legal limit.)

Well I hope this guy gets his deal figured out. There was a time that Fickett was a legitimate force to be reckoned with.
Not understanding his struggles personally I would stop short of calling the guy pathetic, but it's definitely understood how people are sensitive about it.
I thought he hit rock bottom when he went on Judge Judy

Whats the big deal, he showed up to the weigh-ins alittle buzzed. To take the edge off and relax. I mean he made the weight.
Maybe he fights better drunk, like hes thinking he wont feel the punches and then if hes starting to lose he'll just throw up on the other guy and the other guy will quit.
Drove about 3 hours to watch him fight in the outside event RITC129. Was so pissed off to find out the next morning he didn't fight because was being an idiot.
Ritch looked ready to kick anyones butt, so I suppose Drew saved himself from going 0-5 in 2009.
I hope he gets help soon sure, but looks like I need to find a new favorite fighter.

We all have struggles. It's our own personal choices on how to deal with those struggles. He knew exactly what he was doing and still did it.

Not sure this is 100% accurate in this situation, but I think I get what you're trying to say.
This is sad news when combined with some of the other stories that have been floating around for a while concerning Fickett.
