The show was incredible. It’s amazing, It’s unbelievable. It’s our first show here and sold out. A lot of people. It was incredible man. This crowd, I don’t know how many people standing … The ground started to shake. It’s unbelievable … Please, I want a rematch. I know it’s the judges opinion, but I’m thinking I won. It was fight of the night. I want a rematch.”

UFC 99 headliner Wanderlei Silva sounds off after his thrilling back-and-forth three round war with Rich Franklin at “The Comeback” from the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany on June 13. “The Axe Murderer” came up on the losing end of a razor-thin unanimous decision to “Ace,” who was buckled in the second round by the former PRIDE smashing machine — who once again leaves it all in the cage. The fans were certainly grateful for another gritty performance, but was the losing effort enough to warrant a possible rematch? Opinions, please.

As long as he keeps fighting like this win or lose the UFC needs to keep him around.

Give him the rematch because I honestly believe he won the 2nd and 3rd rounds of that fight!!!!!

i thought the same too, or wanderlei silva being one of my favorite fighters is clouding my judgment.

I thought Wand definetly won rounds 2 and 3 but I think if this fight happend at 205 Rich would be in the hospital. Wand had him hurt badly and he just didn't have enough to finish.

about Wand beating Rich at 205. It was a close decision but I thought Franklin won. If Silva had a bit more in the tank I could have seen him finish Rich.

I thought Rich would take him down more but as soon as he closed the distance, Wand starting swinging like crazy and rocked Franklin a few times. I'm just glad Wandy didn't get knocked out. You know the retirement talk would be all over the place.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

For good reason, there were quite a few close bouts! Definitely a good quality event. We only need Caol Uno to jump on the bandwagon now demanding a rematch.

No kidding, Davis, Al-Turk, and Wandy.

I thought Rich win, and I am Wanderlei's biggest fan. Wanderlei isn't going to be challenging for a title any time soon. He was tripping all over the place during the second round. His aim isn't even as good as it once was. I am still going to get excited and nervous before each one of his fights, but he's not going to challenge Anderson sometime soon.

I think he'll be figting Chris leben, or Denis Kang, Or Drew Mcfedries in his next fight. All should be fun.

for what its worth I think Franklin won and am not personally interested in any of these rematches, you win some, you lose some, move on

would love to see it at 205, wandy would dominate, after seeing him yesterday, i hope he reconsiders the move to 185 and makes me think he still has it at 205.

Yeah, because Uno was absolutly robbed whether people think it was boring or not he controlled the pace in all 3 rounds. It seems to me now that nobody cares here because they all picked Fisher.

Definately think Wandy won the last 2 rounds. Have to watch it again but im pretty sure it was a bad call. But it was a great fight either way.

i love wandy fights
rich made a point with some many fighters maybe a 195 weight class or 220 weight class needs to happen
195 would be great have franklin, bisping, hendo, evans, okami, there would be alot of guys who would drop or jump to it
