Posted 8/3/07 12:38:00PM That is the pre-fight prediction of one Phil Baroni, who clearly was in full "New York Badass" mode when talking about his 6/6 Strikeforce opponent, Joe Riggs. Baroni also predicts the fight should not go 3 rounds and that he will win by KO, among other things. Article |

Posted 12/13/07 3:31:00AM Baroni is a really nice guy, probably one of the coolest and friendliest guys you'll MMA fighters you'll meet outside of the cage--so I don't want to talk smack about him but... he's a one dimensional brawler that either KO's a guy in the first couple minutes--or he's on the receiving end in the next 13 minutes. Joe is just too talented to get lured into throwing bombs and getting overwhelmed out the gate. |
