Posted 3/5/08 11:23:00AM Poor Luter. Hopefully this will put him out of his misery. I hope he doesn't continue the trend of underachaieving and take this one seriously. This can put his name back into the heads of people who have either forgotten him or written him off. In my humble opinion of course. Lister by 2nd round triangle |

Posted 6/27/07 4:42:00PM I am big fan of both guys like to see what will happen if this fight goes to the ground. Both guys are sick black belts. Aslo like to see if Travis Lutter does'nt gas out. He can be a really good fighter but his conditioning is a problem. This should be good fight to see |

Posted 6/27/07 8:20:00PM An interesting fight to be put together, I think both have great BJJ, but I think Dean's is better, so I'm gonna say Lister by sub in round 3 or a decision. |

Posted 1/30/07 10:59:00AM Wow... the first 2 or 3 minutes of this fight will be amazing. I'd imagine Lutter will score the takedown, work some slick jits, but that the boogeyman will eventually reverse him, grapple around a bit until Lutter gasses, and then put him away. Still, that's some high level BJJ going to be going on for a bit there. Then again, usually in these matches it ends up being a standup war

Posted 12/13/07 3:31:00AM Maybe I'm one of the few, but I'd like to see Travis do well. I think he could definetely be in the UFC, and possibly be a top 5 fighter. He almost subbed Rich, if it weren't for that fantastic armbar escape, and he was probably the closest anyone has been to beating Anderson Silva in years. I don't believe it was a good decision to cut Lutter after the Franklin fight. He almost beat the #1 and #2 MW's back to back, and before that he beat Patrick Cote, who the UFC believed was good enough to be granted a title shot. Forget the weight issues. If he beats Dean, and looks in shape--bring em' back. Unfortunately Lister is a really bad matchup for Travis if he decides to try and showoff his BJJ. |

Posted 1/15/07 7:35:00PM This will be a hell of a grappling match for sure. Lister probably takes it, but he doesn't have very good wrestling so he better pray that Lutter takes it to the ground (or eventually gasses as per usual). |

Posted 3/25/09 9:45:00PM Lutter is gonna blow his wad and get subbed. Provided he makes weight for this fight. _______________________________________ |
