Posted 12/13/07 3:31:00AM According to Sheridan's post on mixedmartialarts.com: Rory's a friend of mine, and he's NOT making any excuses, but this is a pretty crazy story. He had a terrible weight cut in London, and cramped so badly after the weigh-ins that one of his lungs collapsed. He didn't even know it. He just said he was feeling pretty shitty. link |

Posted 2/7/08 7:05:00PM Thats some crazy ****. Markham must be a tough MF but still he got TKO'ed in under a minute so its hard to say if it hinderd him thaty badly. |

Posted 6/21/07 4:17:00PM I don't think this had any affect on the outcome of the fight. Markham's style is fun the watch but it cost him sometimes and that's what happened in this fight. _______________________________________ |

Posted 2/7/08 7:05:00PM Yeah he is a kill or be killed type of fighter I dont think he really seems to care which one, as long as its a good fight. |

Posted 10/10/07 2:09:00PM How the hell did he get through his pre-fight medical check up with a collapsed lung? Surely somebody would of noticed? Either way, guess its a good job Hardy put him away early to avoid any further damage to his lung. |

Posted 6/4/08 11:29:00AM he must be a tough dude knowing it could potentially have been bad but imo it still didnt affect anything |

Posted 1/24/07 6:05:00PM If he did fight with that injury then it was out of stupidity. There's no reason for him to fight with that injury. I really hate when athletes just can't admit to being injured. It's not like we as MMA fans would've lumped Markham in with Parisyan for pulling out of the fight. |

Posted 4/30/07 3:11:00PM I hope nobody tries to take anything away from Hardy's performance after this 'revelation' |
