wow...frank mir only gets 45k to show, when big nog was getting 250? thats ridiculous...

no its not, nog is still a huge name, and mir had lost to vera and another guy (hardonk?)

$45k seems about right

Yeah, pretty sick. It will be interesting to see how much Mir gets paid to fight Brock, seeing as now they are both the 'champ'.

Sir_Karl » Posted 9/7/07 9:27:00PM

The Mir pay is insane. I disagree 100% with the gent a few posts ahead of me.
As a coach on TUF and a challenger to Nog's interim belt...not too mention a former legit Heavyweight champ...Mir deserved at least twice what he was paid.
Mir deserved well over $100,000 for the fight.
On another note....poor Al Turk.
The guy got little money for a skull shattering beating.
It doesn't matter though.
These fighters negotiate their contracts with the UFC.
Their pay is what was agreed upon.
We just critique it.

Let's all remember, these figures are the disclosed amounts. Randy and Brock made over a million, I believe.

wow! rampage fought for less that five minutes and made enough money to buy a rolls royce

Yeah, on Dana's video blog he even said that he was going to buy a tricked out new car with his knockout bonus.

I wonder how much Mir was given back stage after this fight.. he probably got close to what Nog made in the end.

Maybe he should donate some of his purse to that woman who's unborn baby died after his car collided with hers. That would be a nice gesture.
