Posted 4/30/07 3:11:00PM Another lightweight bout between Kurt Pellegrino (12-4) and Rob Emerson Record (8-6) is in the works for UFC Fight Night 17 at The Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 7. Already, the Spike TV special features two other 155-pound match ups between Mac Danzig and Josh Neer, as well as Joe Lauzon and Hermes Franca, respectively. Pellegrino will look to string together consecutive wins for the first time in more than a year. “Batman” is coming off a solid unanimous decision win over Thiago Tavares at UFC 88: “Breakthrough” back in September. He has flirted with being recognized as a top competitor in a very crowded division on numerous occasions throughout his career; however, he has been plagued by inconsistency in recent bouts. Pellegrino can get back in the thick of things in 2009 with an early win to start the year over a surging Emerson. LINK |

I agree, this fight shouldn't last long at all. |

While I agree that Batman takes this fight rather handedly, I disagree that it'll be a quick fight. Emerson may be a bit under rated in his own right, and I see him going the distance but losing a unanimous decision. _______________________________________ |

Posted 6/21/07 4:27:00PM I think they stand and trade, then kurt will take it to the ground, pound emerson and then force him into a submission. In the first or second. |

Posted 12/30/07 1:04:00PM I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Rob for 1 reason only!! I've always doubted him and for the most part he's come through some how. So that being said I'm going Rob by decision ![]()

Posted 8/26/07 10:38:00PM Kurt is better in every aspect of the game. I really don't see Emerson winning this fight unless he gets lucky. |

Posted 6/25/07 1:09:00AM I think these guys will look to take FOTN honors. They will stand and bang. Eventually Pelligrino will take it to the mat and finish Emerson. Should be a slobberknocker though!
