Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem (Pictures) confirmed to Sherdog.com that he will meet former Pride Open Weight Grand Prix winner Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (Pictures) at Dream 6 on Sept. 23 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

Overeem was getting smoked on the feet by Mark Hunt. Hunt stepped into Overeem's ground game. Mirko won't make the same mistake and minus certain physical characteristics he's better on the feet than Hunt.

wouldnt be all that shocking if you ask me. If cro cop hasnt changed i dont see em winning. if the surgery went well and hes back to his old ways then overeem doesnt stand a chance
Should be a great fight... hopefully Cro Cop has his head back on his shoulders for this one and shows us he is still a force in the MMA world..
Overeem on the other hand has looked better than ever, hes gained lots of muscle mass and he is becoming a serious threat..
This one could go either way and someone is getting KTFO'd big time... im rooting for Cro Cop by Rd. 1 KO baby!
