Posted 4/30/07 3:11:00PM Xtreme Couture light heavyweight Alex Schoenauer (14-9 MMA, 0-1 UFC), a cast member on the original season of "The Ultimate Fighter," may soon be stepping back into the octagon. The IFL veteran recently signed with the WEC as a late replacement for Mark Munoz in a Sept. 10 WEC 36 bout against Steve Steinbeiss. Schoenauer today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that it is the first of several planned bouts under the Zuffa LLC banner. "I believe it's a five-fight deal," Schoenauer said. "Only one is with the WEC and the rest are supposed to be with the UFC. [The WEC] is supposed to be moving all of the 205 (pounders) from the WEC to the UFC. This is supposedly their last 205 (pound) show." LINK |

Posted 7/19/07 11:27:00AM All the luck to him but I don't think he'll be doing to well in the UFC....should go to EXC and match up with Southworth, Tito, and Babalu. |
