Posted 2/11/07 3:08:00PM espite having mixed results as a lightweight in the UFC’s talented 155-pound division, Clay ‘The Carpenter’ Guida has had an otherwise stellar mixed martial arts career. Holding an impressive 22-9 professional record, Guida has competed against (and beaten) many of the top lightweight fighters competing in the sport today. Some of Guida’s biggest career victories have been over opponents such as IFL lightweight standout Bart Palaszewski, in addition to victories over top lightweights such as Josh Thompson and Marcus Aurelio. Posted 2/6/08 5:14:00PM I don't know why I've always respected that man. Funny he always fights with his hair in fromt of his head. |

Posted 6/27/07 12:18:00AM Clay Guida is the man...balls out every fight. I'm not sure about him at 155 but if he can make 145 he could be a dominant force.... |

Posted 8/26/07 10:38:00PM Clay is just having a run of bad luck, he doesn't need to drop to 145 because he is already a force at 155 most of his losses are to top competition and most are because he was caught in the wrong place and the wrong time so to speak... Good Luck to Clay and i can't wait to see him fight again!

Posted 1/11/08 3:14:00PM pretty easy to figure out why this guy is my favorite. he goes balls to the wall every fight he's in. i think now clay guida can beat anyone in the lw division in the ufc except bj penn. he's had some tough luck but could easily be 5-0 or 4-1 in the ufc. remember the guy has only been in mma for about 4 years. he's doing nothing but improving everyday.
