Bocek on UFC 83: “There’s no way I’m gonna lose in Canada”   [View Full Version]
juanez13 » Posted 7/12/07 9:54:00PM

On April 19th, the 26-year old Bocek will go for win number two in the UFC when he takes on The Ultimate Fighter
season six winner, Mac Danzig.

“I see it as a really good fight,” said Bocek, “and on paper I think it’s a good style matchup for me. I don’t think he’s fought anyone like me before. This fight’s gonna give me a lot of exposure, and more importantly, get me where I need to be – higher up in the rankings.”

“I’ve been competing since I was 12,” he said. “That’s what I do, that’s all I know. It (fighting in front of a huge hometown crowd) gets your blood flowing but it doesn’t really bother me. I’m used to competing a lot, and there’s no way I’m gonna lose in Canada.”

Good luck on that Bocek. I don't see him getting out of the first round.

That's why I want to see people finishing fight on this event because if it goes to decision..

Basically if you can hear the 3 horn (or 5th for Serra-GSP) the next step will be a Canadian with his arm being raised by the referee.

Go KOs and Submissions !!!

so you are saying if macdonald vs doerkson goes to decision it will be a draw

But yea i see Mc winning this, he has a great sprawl, and i give him the advantage on the feet.

"Ive been doing martial arts for over 12 years, thats all I know how to do... I was bred to do this.. I will win this fight."

-Bocek before getting KO'd against Frank Edgar.

He would make a pretty cool leprechaun though to be honest.

we'll see how good Mac is really in this fight

Swick did say the same thing about Texas, but still LOL at anyone who thinks Danzig could sub Bocek

whardin19 » Posted 7/25/07 9:08:00PM

I see this fight a little closer than some of you. Bocek is a pretty good fighter. I know Mac Danzig has alot more experience. But, I could see this fight going to a decision. Either way I see Mac winning this fight.

only way he will win that fight is by cut,, he won't make it past first round, that fight in vegas against doug evans was the most boring fight i have seen live so far,

What did you expect? Doug Evans is a collegiate wrestler and Mark Bocek Is a Nova Uniao black belt in BJJ.

You expect epic ground and pound or something?
