agreed. I have seen the first one.
Pretty much 4 rounds of Lay and Pray....... quality fighters, too bad their skills just canceled out.

I had to vote "no" too. Unless I see Sakurai beat some big welterweights I have trouble picturing a rematch going any differently than the first match. Basically it was:

Striking on feet was insignificant for either guy
Hughes' wrestling > Mach's judo for takedowns
Hughes' top position > Mach's guard work

I doubt that any of that has changed.

oe Rogan made a good point about Japanese fighters vs. American fighters--although I think it's really only pertinent to judoka/wrestlers. Guys like Yoshida, Nakamura and Sakurai are fightting at their walking weight which is tough if you're a guy who likes top control and you're fighting another skilled wrestler who's cutting 20 pounds. With that in mind, I think Sakurai could be a force at 155, but I've never seen him try to make that light a weight. I bet he's no bigger than Sherk, though.

I was always under the impression that Sakurai walked around at 170 and had hard time cutting to 155.
His fight with Mac Danzig was supposed to be at 155 but at the last miniute Sakurai's camp changed it to 163lb catch weight. I always thought that was always because Sakurai couldnt make 155 but it might just have been him not wanting to cut any weight at all.
