Had a CAO Brazilian tonight. Best cigar I've ever had! Also, a customer at work found out I was looking for a humidor and offered to give me a $100 model for free. Hes part of some online cigar club and he smokes Davidoffs, which I guess come with a free humidor, being as they're horrifyingly expensive.

When you guys talk about Cuban cigars you aren't talking about the original blend that drove everyone crazy over them. The family that made that blend moved to Florida to escape Fidel Castrol and since the growing climate is different they can't grow their tobacco to perfection anymore. Today's Cuban cigars are expensive and overrated because you're paying for the fact its a "Cuban", but trust me, its not a CUBAN.

Yes, its a Cuban cigar because its from Cuba, but the family that revolutionized Cuban cigars and made the best Cuban cigars fleed to Miami.

As I've never smoked a Cuban, and never would b/c of the embargo, though I'd smoke Fidel with my gun, I can not attest to this, but I have heard it is the cigars pre-Fidel that are the best. Since then, the quality has steadily gone down, but still a good smoke.
I smoke occassionally, mainly whatever my friends or brother is smoking at the time, but two names that I rember standing out where Oynx and CAO Brazilian.
Don't tell my insurance guy I smoke a cigar or two, according to him, I might as well smoke a pack of cigs a day as far as my insurance rates are concerned. So, I officially stopped smoking 6 years ago.

I haven't tried very many types, but I have too say I love the cheap, flavored cigars.
-Underaged, occasional cigar smoker.

Man you're missing out. If you smoke real cigars, you'll get a great buzz from them. My first time I had a real one, I bought a 10dollar Montecristo, and I seriously felt like I was drunk.

Cant Americans by Cuban cigars in Canada? Wouldnt it just be a import from our country then? PS im not sure but i think Cuba learned their lesson......... maybe it wouldnt hurt to be nice to a country that you can see. Couldnt hurt to have another friend on the block even if he is the small kid (who smokes cigars)
