her name is angie woolum one of my jui jitsu instructors she has heavy hands and good recovery time she is also great on the ground with all of this placed right in the flow i think she could slam and tap gina easily so what do you think

I think Gina has a lot of holes in her game. I'm very surprised that she beat Tonya Evinger. If Tonya would have stuck to GnP, instead of trying that ridiculous guillotine choke, Tonya could have finished Gina.

Awesome thread.
But yeah, some bad mofos are not competing and have no desire to (particularly military, especially Korea...I also think I saw some real badass Cambodian soldiers who blocked punches by elbowing their opponents fist and breaking it! Imagine those guys in the UFC?)

Common technique in Muay Thai. Though it won't have been called Muay Thai because the soldiers were Cambodian, all the nations around Thailand ripped bits off Muay Thai and Krabai Krabong, such as Burmese Lethwei. No one does it as well as the Thais though!

How come we don't see this technique in MMA by MT guys, I would imagine it would be very effective.

Shinashi would probably kill Gina even with the 40 lbs. weight difference. Shinashi has some crazy submission skills, there are a few videos out there. She's literally able to grab someone's wrist STANDING and lift herself onto their arms and sink in armbars at will while their opponenet is standing. It's nuts.
