When you think of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, no other fighter draws more respect and recognition than Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell (20-4). A former division 1 wrestler and a kick boxer by trade, Liddell has used his “sprawl and brawl” tactics along with his devastating knockout power to successfully become one of the most feared and beloved fighters in the UFC

lol it's almost like an amateur wrote that article. he does a good job at listing facts, but when saying both fighters have "cleaned" out the division he's obviously mistaken. Shogun and Lyoto Machida are top contenders (Shogun being the obvious number 1 guy at 205) and there are plenty of other up and coming guys. I disagree Wanderlei is the toughest from PRIDE, he's one of my favorites, but that destinction clearly belongs to Fedor. Fedor vs Randy RIGHT NOW for both belts would be the real PRIDE vs UFC contest that everybody wants to see. I'm sure this fight will happen, but I won't be surprised if Jardine KO's Chuck next Saturday. He's looking past Jardine despite what he says publicly, as he talks about getting his belt back and fighting Rampage and Wanderlei in every interview. Even if Chuck KO's him in the 1st round, I doubt the fight happens in December, but let's hope so. Wanderlei by KO Round 2.

I do agree Fedor vs Couture is the ultimate UFC vs Pride fight there is,
I do think chuck can get Ko'ed by Jardine to though i picked chuck. Anything can happen to a good striker on the way back to a title shot, only people like Matt hughes (dominant wrestler) usually make their way back to title shots the safe way (lay over top of them and win by decision). Shogon and Jackson are the top ranked in that divison but you will see some upsets down the road

On the subject of Chuck having troubles standing up, see the Guy Mezger fight as well. He can be hurt.

Yeah because Chuck is invinceable when guys bang with him!! It's not like Overeem had him hurt and then gassed, or Rampage mauled him twice!! WAKE UP GUYS!!! Chuck will run through Machida and Wanderlei, Shogun has no striking, and Rampage got lucky, TWICE!!!

Just rewatched that fight yeah Chuck got rocked early on but he absolutely destroyed Overeem after the initial onslaught.
