This may be a small rant, but it will definitely include some fact checking on my part. Recently, the mainstream media outlets have begun to sink their teeth into the sport of MMA

I would like it alot more if the mainstream outlets actually knew what they were talking about. I beginning to worry that mainstream outsiders are diluting the essence of what mma is, two warriors fighting one on one combat to see who the best is. Boxing lost this decades ago, I don't want to see it happen to mma.

MMA is all over, it's great, but I'm kind of sick of the mainstream media screwing up half their article with bad facts. SI article was terrible, and then today, the guy had to basically devote an entire article to his mailbag to fact check everything he said in the previous article and apologize. I mean, come on! It makes these mainstream guys seem like they know nothing about MMA and should just move on to covering Boxing like they have in the past.

They should leave the MMA reporting to people who actualy know the sport.Otherwise some of these columist or going to choke on their on words.

Haha, yeah, go to the SI site now. The SI writer had to do an entire mailbag defending his article because so many fans who actually know what they are talking about drilled him about all the unfactual crap he wrote.
