Following his controversial split-decision win over Matt Hamill this past Saturday at UFC 75, Michael Bisping issued comments to Joe Rogan during his post-fight interview and additional comments during the post-fight press conference that angered both fans and critics.

You have to respect the guy for publicly apologizing.

Its good that he apoligized, but I still don't have as much respect for him. He apologized because his people talked to him and he realized he lost a lot of supporters over his act in the ring. Don't get me wrong he could have told the fans to cram it. He apologized and thats good, but it doesn't change what happened. Sucks too, cause I really liked him leading up to this crap.

Bisping/Hammel was a great fight. I look forward to seeing a rematch between the two.
While I did not like Bispings post-fight comments, I am glad to see him man up and admit that he was wrong.
By the way after re-watching the fight, I can see how a judge would have given the last two rounds to Bisping.

I like the article's ending statement of having them fight with a bunch of other rematch fights...I said this before on another comment. Rashad Tito, Maynard Emerson, and I would have to look into it to pick others, but I am sure they are out there. Make it free on spike... UFC 79 The Grudgematch!!

Everyone is ignoring the fact that he had just fought! Of course he was kind of a jerk he is talking about the dude he just was in a brawl with. In most sports there is a cool down period after the game before the press conferences. Personally I am surprised that more fighters aren't bigger jerks in their obligitory Joe Rogan interviews.
But admitidly I am a Bisping fan, but still to have lost respect for the guy is ludacris. He didn't deliver the decision he just won it. What is he supposed to do say "actually Matt probably won this fight" Everyone looses their cool and says the "wrong thing" and to not respect a guy for doing the human thing is sad. Everyone screws up and the people who really deserve our respect are not those who are not making mistakes but those who are big enough to address them and apologize.

lol exactly..he just fought. his emotions were still riding high. the fact he apologizes and even gives a crap what the fans think tell me he's a stand up guy. i thought he won the last 2 rounds, or at least it was a draw, but the rematch will settle all doubts. PROPS TO BISPING

I think he took Hamill lightly as did the majority of the public, I look for him to win a clear cut decision in the rematch and then drop to 185

I've been watching MMA since 95, this has to be one the funniest shit ever. I think Bisping is afraid, feeling that a deaf person has beaten him publiclly. And just now he has to post something on the "loss". I hope Hamill drops him next time around. By the way this is my 1st post!
