**** yeah I'd like to see this. I think Cote has got his confidence back and could take out Terry Martin. Both like to slug it out.
“I just don’t like this guy [Terry Martin]. He has a big mouth. Terry Martin has said he’s the next big thing at 185 and that he will be champion. He thinks he has heavy hands because he knocked out Jorge Rivera. But if you watch that fight, you see Rivera was already off balance and he caught him. He’s a one-dimensional fighter. He doesn’t shoot for the leg; he tries to trap you against the cage. I can use my reach against him, and I have good footwork and hands. It will be a long night for him if he wants to try and trap me against the cage.”
– Patrick Cote tells FightNetwork.com that he wants the winner of the middlweight fight between Chris Leben and Terry Martin at UFC Fight Night 11 on September 19. Cote is fresh of a technical knockout (strikes) win over Kendall Grove at UFC 74 last month.

If Lutter can take him down Martin can, but if they both decide to stand it's anyones fight.

People underestimate Cote too much. I think Terry would most likely lose unless he got a lucky KO. Terry reminds me a lot of a Mike Tyson of MMA, talks way to much abotu himself and the gap in the teeth.

Anytime Cote gets in the ring I'm excited. I'd really wanna see this happen.

Gotta love the Predator baby! I would love to see this fight happen as soon as Martin is finished with Leban.

Martin is too smart to stand with Cote, as Cote has the reach on him in spades. I don't think hes have much trouble taking him down and stopping him with gnp in the first though.

I like Cote, but I am not jumping on the bandwagon just yet. Terry Martin is tough and might be a good fight for him, but isn't Martin fighting Leben?
Cote impressed me a lot at UFC 74, but I need to see more to make sure it wasn't a case of good vs bad night.
Martin has convinced me he is a powerhouse, but at the same time he needs two more solid wins to secure contender status

Hate to say it, The fact that they both like to stand and throw is easily masked by the differential in POWER. I'd give the fight to Terry Martin in Round 1 by KO. . .Although I much prefer Cote, unfortunately it's a loss.

This would be a great fight! They're both exciting fighters I havn't seen these guys in boring fights yet. I think Cote would catch him at some point and KO Martin. Cote by KO
