this fight definately lived up to the hype, as did the entire card. it may not have been explosive and exciting but it was a great battle of attrition. Hendo has a big time chin. I would love to see these two go at it again.

It was a good fight, but not fight of the year. Could have gone either way. Neither lost or won, one was awarded a victory.

How did everone score the second round? I think that is the round that was the hardest to pick. I have to go back and look at it but I think Dan controlled most of the round with rampage stealing it in the last 1:30. I DON"T KNOW GREAT FIGHT !!! Can't wait for Shogun!

It was the best televised fight of the night at least. I'll be happy to see the middelweight division get some better competition with Hendo there. Rich and Anderson better watch their backs.

I can't believe that I am the only person on this site that thought Hendo won, and it wasn't even that close. Hendo dominated the first, won the second and/or third, and won the final round. I was disgusted by the decision, as well as Rampage's classless post-fight w/Joe Rogan. I understand that is how he is, but talking about his knuckles when ate more that he gave?!?! Obviously the Bisbing fight was worse, but I felt they stole the victory from Hendo. It was a great fight that was full of action from start to finish, but these guys need to realize that the judges might have a little Dana on their shoulder wispering in their ears telling them what would be best for the UFC. In any case it was a great card with some exciting fights.

Wasn't the awesome fight I hoped for with all the hype, but definitely wasn't terrible. I gave the slight edge to Rampage, especially in the late rounds when Hendo was major gassed and Rampage did a better job of holding up.

Just because Hendo was tired doesn't mean that Rampage scores points. You score points on effective octagon control, agression, striking and grappling. Being tired has nothing to do with it, and those rounds were so close they could have gone either way. I just refuse to give Rampage rounds that he got beat for the first4 minutes, and then in the last minute comes with a barrage or a reversal.

ummm nobody mentioned jacksons chin.

i thought hendo was rocked a few times, but jackson just didnt pounce because he didn't want to get caught. but god damn hendo threw some leather into jacksons jaw and he kept on coming.

i think jackson will beat shogun. i know shogun is sick, but his soccer kicks are a huge part of his game, and well lets face it he's never had a title fight, and jackson proved he's a much different more matured fighter. he didn't waste his energy on slams, and threw some crisp punches.

i dont know if he will beat shogun but you make a great point that rampage is a much improved fighter, i think his ground control was excellent and will make his fight against shogun a very competitive fight.

To win a decision you gotta kick his ass all over the cage like coture vs silva. Hendo didn't do that. He won rounds one and two decisively but after that it kind of flat lined for him. I was impressed with Quinton's stamina though that's what swayed the judges.

Shogun is my favorite fighter. I fear for Griffin. I think he can beat Rampage but not like last time. He got lucky and broke his rib. Rampage's only chance is to defend the clinch and keep it standing.
I can't wait!

Rampage's comment was giving Henderson credit for how tough he was and how solid of a chin he has. He wasn't putting him down.

Man, you've got your opinion, but I don't see how you can say Hendo won that fight.
Rampage was in control most of the fight. Very good, close fight, but Rampage clearly won 3 rounds to 2 in my eyes.
