Well with Kongo earning an impressive win over Cro Cop will his next opponent be GG, otherwise who else is there for him to fight? Granted there are alot of top name heavyweights right now (Sylvia, Vera, Arlovski, Nogeuria, Gonzaga, Werdum, Herring) however with these heavyweight in the UFC, I believe that it's going to break down like this, if the UFC doesn't sign Fedor the winner of Vera vs. Sylvia next in line for Randy, Arlovski's next fight could very well be against Nogeuria to see whos next in line after Sylvia-Vera, Herring fights Werdum both fighters looking to climb back into the top, and that pretty much leaves Gonzaga left for Kongo to fight, I would like to see this fight, however it could be Kongo-Arlovski and Gonzaga-Nogeuria, or Kongo-Nogeuria and Arlovski-Gonzaga. I would love to see any of these match-ups but the one I would want to see most is either Kongo-Gonzaga or Arlovski-Gonzaga.

I think that GG vs Kongo would be a great match but i honestly think that GG vs Arvolski would be more entertaining, because GG would be an underdog like he is in all of his fights and i think he would shine over Arvloski.

I would think that congos next fight would have to be against Big Nog. then the winner could fight the winner of vera/silvia to get the next title shot

I think Kongo vs Gonzaga would be the most entertaining match up....Both great on the feet and this would be a huge test to Kongo's groungame which is at least making small strides

You got that right... Cheick would be in a world of trouble fighting someone who around the same size as him and with a world class ground game.

Cheick looked pretty good against Cro Cop, but this matchup would be almost as bad for him as Randy or Fedor or Nog. Cheick will never do well against anyone in the top 10 with a ground game. I wouldn't be suprised if Mir could take him.

If the UFC wants Kongo to continue to win, they will give him another striker.

However... I wouldn't mind seeing Kongo getting subbed in 10 sec... so WAR GG v. Kongo.

Frank Mir would destroy Kongo. He would nail him a few times in order to get into the clinch, then he would trip him up, bring him down, and quickly submit him.

I agree with the GG vs Kongo thing, it seems to be the best logical step for both fighters. I think Arlovski should take on Big Nog.

I'd give Kongo the fight with Mir, as I think he'd fight smarter than Hardonk did and he has the same fight ending leg kick and solid hands. Mir has very little stand-up skill and Kongo has the reach to pick him apart.

As for GG vs Kongo, that makes the most sense, but I think GG would maul Kongo. Asserio is a sub-par fighter and he utterly dominated him on the ground, so I think GG would be more than able to sub him in the 1st.

If big nog fought Kongo, Kongo would be on his butt in 10 seconds flat. Then we all know what happens from there... Submission first round

Big Nog vs GG. AA vs Kongo.

I don't know.. It would make more sense to have a Gonzaga vs Kongo fight, because at least there will be excitement when Gonzaga rips Kongo apart.. AA vs Kongo would be like Sylvia/Monson.. So damn boring.. AA has been shit lately, and Kongo is still shit.. I don't care if he beat Mirko.. If Mirko says he broke his ribs in the first round, then I say Kongo got lucky.. In fact.. I moved Kongo completely off my Top 10 in favor of someone who hasn't fought in a long time.. Jake O'Brien..

Kongo can not hang with Gonzaga on the ground. If Gonzaga got Kongo to the ground, it would be over..... quickly. This matchup makes sense though. They might schedule it.

As far as a more entertaining fight, I would have Arlovski vs. Kongo.

Kongo has earned a right to fight a top contender, so I hope they don't give him Mir.
