I've already updated my Fighter Rankings (which I only include UFC fighters, which means guys who have fought in a UFC fight.), I have Kongo at #5, which use to be Cro Cop's position. He now resides in #6 spot.

Apprently he dismantled Filipovic. But I will wait to watch it before I make that assessment myself.

Not really, kneed him in the balls, and kneed him in the body. It was a bad fight for Mirko, he didn't throw or engage enough, and kongo did win. I thought Mirko was going to take him out when he had him mounted in the first.

Shit, what a shit year for Cro Cop. 2006, he looked unstoppable. I think he has just stopped caring. I'm sorry to say it, but it looks like one of the icons of MMA's career is burning out.
Words cannot express how dissapointed I feel.

Sadly, I think you are right. Wow, what a huge disappointment.

Yeah I'm disappointed too but not compared to Dana White. I wonder what he's thinking when his $20.000 a fight investment beat his $350.000 a fight investment.
CroCop looked really good in the first round. In the second he looked insecure and Kongo landed a lot of good kicks and punches. He also landed a few knees. Some legal, some not. And the last round pretty much the same with CC looking extremely uninspired.

I think he's going to retire, no need to tarnish his legacy any further. I think he just decided that he's got alot more to do in life then fighting. Unlike alot of fighters fighting is his second career, and he's re-joining his anti-terrorism unit in November. I am a little confused as to why big john warned kongo about the knees to the groin between the first and second, and then when kongo hit him with knees to the groin again he just gave another warning? Don't see the difference between that and what tito did.

Maybe he didn't think Kongo was actually hitting the balls?

But in between the first and second he said "keep the knees up you can't hit him there, only warning" and then gave him another. It would have still been a very disapointing draw, but I feel if your going to do it to tito for grabbing the cage(twice instead of four times) you should do the same in this situation.

I agree. I think he should've deducted a point after all those knees to the groin.

I was disgusted at Big John's unwillingness to remove a point, he warned Kongo, and then Kongo still landed a solid nut shot, then hammered another right in after it, and John still only asked him to be careful. I know removing a point would still have only made it a draw, but I thought it was duff on John's part, he usually doesn't make mistakes like that.
Hard time for us Cro Cop fans
