when it does happen will Serra just try to hold GSP through the whole fight like he did with the guy in TUF or will he just go down in 30 seconds?

although i like serra, he goes into round 1 then heads back to the locker room, easy fight for GSP

theres no chance serra could just hold GSP against the fence for more than a minute let alone 5 rounds. GSP is in a class above serra in wrestling and stand up plus matt hughes is arguebly the strongest guy in the 170lb division and he couldnt even get a good hold of GSP. So realisticly i dont see serra getting a hold of GSP nad controlling him, so i predict 1st round tko for GSP

I have not read any reports from Serra recently so I don't have much of a clue whether it would be GSP. But if I base the fights from the past Serra fights, well I guess it'll be GSP on my ticket.

I don't think that Matt Serra has much of a shot with the roll that GSP is on. Matt Hughes got dominated by George and I don't think that Matt Serra is in the same class as Hughes.

serra is not in the same class as hughes, he doesn't have the strengh, stand up, or skill . serra belongs at 155, even at that weight, he won't get by pen or sherk

I like Serra, he's a great guy and a pretty good MMA fighter....but GSP is going to lay him out in under 3 minutes.

Serra will end up going down in weight classes after this fight. He's going to end up just like Sherk.

Serra's only chance is to go for some crazy strategy and hope it works. It would be a huge risk but no better than to try to go toe to toe with GSP.

GSP has this one in round one.

personally dont think its going to happen. I dont think GSP even wants to fight him, and with good reason. NO WAY does serra deserve a title fight. I think thats why GSP aquired a knee injury weeks before the fight.

I'm going to go with my heart and say Serra by sub and i'm going to stick by it and then eat humble pie once he loses, but oh my science if Serra pulls it off, you guys will never hear the end of it.

Serra has been around a long time, and after seeing him as a person on TUF he is as likeable as anyone in MMA, but GSP is a load and I only see Serra having a chance if GSP's knee isn't fully healed otherwise should be a short fight

I like Serra bec of the skills he shows on the matt. Being a cheerful looking guy even while getting beaten up is one of those characteristics that just makes you want to watch and cheer for the guy.
