I've been partying a little tonight and I am convinced now that Fedor is already signed to the UFC!!! Here is my prediction:

Fedor is signed with the UFC but will not be fighting Randy for his first fight. Fedor will be fighting Arlovski. There are a few reasons for this... 1. Dana is mad at AA for not having exciting fights his last few outings 2. Fedor will get some fan recognition fighting AA 3. It will allow Randy to finish his contract vs Fedor

Randy will fight the winner of Kongo/CroCop. A big reason why it will be one of these fighters is that the UFC believes Randy's style will be too strong vs. both of these strikers.

I will admit, I could be way off. But for tonight I just got this gut feeling...

You may be right about the Fedor signing, but I dout Randy will face the winner of Cro Cop Vs Kongo. MABEY Cro Cop will get the shot if he wins, but I don't think he deserves it until he beats a top contender in the octagon. Kongo is solid, but he isn't a top of the list heavy weight yet. I think Nogueira might be next in line for Randy, but it's all really unclear at this point. As for Fedor Vs Arlovski, I only see that happening if Fedor doesn't want a unification fight straight away. He wont have fought for a while and might want a warm up, but if Hendo deserves a title fight right away then so does Fedor. I'd like to see the winner of Kongo Vs Cro Cop fight Big Nog for the title shot, and I hope the shot will be against the the winner of Randy Vs Fedor.

i actually could see randy getting the winner of cc-kongo, assuming that the winner is cc. cc is a much better matchup for randy than big nog and randy signed a 4 fight deal. if randy could get through cc and fedor trounces whoever gets fed to him for his warmup fight it sets up the biggest mma fight in history, randy vs fedor unification bout. win or lose randy looks like the man and the ufc ushers in the new hw champ of the world, and the casual fan gets caught up on what a adass fedor is in a hurry. if randy could somehow pull off a win then it will be one of the most amazing comeback story in the history of sports and someone ought to make a movie...

even if randy loses to cc people would still want to see him fight fedor and it also would set up a rematch that people are really looking forward too, fedor vs cc 2.

it might be safer to just throw randy and fedor in there and not worry about randy losing and the fight losing some of its appeal, but this scenario also makes a lot of sense to me.

Dana White has said on several occassions that Fedor would get an immediate title shot, but who knows. I think he will, unless he wanted a warm up fight, but I'm not sure that he would. I have a feeling that we will see Fedor or Lesner sign at 75...or both. This would be a huge unveiling...and with it being on Spike, it would get the largest viewership possible. If both signed, it would cause quite a buzz for hardcore and casual fans alike. I don't care who you are, or how long you've been a fan, but one if not both of these guys are cause for talk at the water cooler on Monday.

as a man who has also been drinking tonight i like this post, ive already said that i think hes signed and dana tried to throw a red herring out there by saying the meeting didnt go well. AA is a strech for me, i really think if he signs he will be fighting randy on the december 29 card, dana has said he wants one super bowl a year and so far it looks that way if we get wandy vs chuck plus serra/hughes along with this hypothetical fight. plus AA's contract is up after his next fight i believe(i may be wrong i may be drunk) so if he beats fedor he'll have more leverage than dana likes to give when re-signing guys. this took me longer than any other post ive ever written due to many backspaces to correct horrible typing.

If Fedor signs he will almost definitely get an immediate title shot. It's VERY unlikely that the winner of CroCop-Kongo will get a title shot, neither of them deserve a title shot just yet. CroCop will most likely go on to face Nog provided he wins and the winner of THAT match will get the next title shot. Hopefully he IS signed, if he is we'll probably be seeing Fedor-Randy, CroCop-Nog, and then the winners of each bout facing one another. This is if he is signed at all of course. Big Tim will most likely be the next in line IF he is able to beat Vera which I have difficulty seeing unless he gets back to his old aggressive self.

I thought if CC wins he would fight Nog at the end of the year on the Serra/Hughes card thats what I heard and the winner would fight for the belt but I could see the Fedor /AA thing happening do to the fact that if Fedor waits to fight Randy it would be almost a year between fights and there would be a lot of rust plus no real fights in a cage would be tough(a la Cro Cop) I think Fedor is smart enough to take a good fight before fighting for the title plus AA should be in line for a title shot soo anyway so the winner of Fedor/AA would be next in line for a title shot like when it was Ganzaga/CroCop

Even if Kongo does pull the upset which wouldnt shock me because hes a hard striker and on friday night fights Teddy atlas has always told me the biggest or toughest fight of a fighters career is when there comign off of a KO loss because they will question themself and CC might fall under this!!!

So if KNogo wins he should not get a title shot right away!!

He has a HORRIBLE sprawl. Did anybody see his fight at 74? If that was randy instead of the other guy Kongo would have been stopped easy in the 1st!!!

The winner of CC/Kongo should hopefully will fight big nog at the last PPV of the year or the 1st of next year and give Randy time for his arm to get 110% and then have him fight the winner of CC/Kongo vs. Big nog at like 82 or 83 maybe 84 or 85?

I look at it this way

If Fedor is signed, Randy will fight Fedor. Randy, from what I recall, has one fight left on his contract. I don't know how much longer Randy will keep fighting. In all honesty, I can't see him fighting for more than a year from now.

I doubt that the winner of CC and Kongo will get a title shot. Regardless of who wins that fight I see the winner needing one more solid win to get a title shot.

I see this happening.

Randy fights Fedor. I personally think Fedor will take it and Randy retires for real. Cro cop beats Kongo and fights one more fight and wins it. Fedor and Cro Cop 2 !!!! for the title.

i thought randy had two fights left in his contract. i may be wrong but i thought it was a four fight deal. id love to see fedor/randy go at it on new years eve but can randy fight again that soon? i thought he was out until feb. (which is a really big part of why the original scenario may make sense to me as the ufc is not gonna want to ice fedor for that long and the fact that he has said that he wanted a warm up fight to get acclimated to the cage). if randy is good to go as soon as new years eve then i agree that is the most likely scenario...

I think Fedor might be signed but the rest is alittle odd to believe. Fedor def will get an immediate title shot, just like henderson. Dana may be mad at AA but he could give a different fighter to destroy him, we prob will see check vs AA later on.
